Rehearse the bad day. Train for the real one.
Tabletop exercise design and after-action reporting, executive-level findings facilitation, and an inspector training pipeline that builds readiness into the workforce.
Cyber Exercises & Workforce Readiness
Readiness is practiced, not declared. Pueo designs and runs cyber tabletop exercises, facilitates findings with senior leaders, and trains the inspectors who carry the inspection mission.
Exercises are built from the mission’s real dependencies and a credible adversary rather than a generic scenario deck. Injects force decisions across the cyber, operations, and leadership seats at once, and the after-action report names the gap, the owner, and the change instead of restating the timeline. Findings are then facilitated at the senior-leader level, framed in mission terms so direction comes out of the room. The training pipeline runs the same way: published standards, courseware, mentored on-the-job progression, and qualification checks written by the people who do the inspecting.
The exercise and the pipeline feed each other. What an exercise exposes becomes training content, and what training qualifies shows up in the next exercise. Where this pipeline runs, inspector onboarding is 30–40% faster, and the standard held while the bench grew.
What’s Inside
Tabletop exercise design
Scenarios drawn from the mission’s own dependencies and a credible adversary, with injects built to force decisions rather than to fill an agenda.
Facilitation and after-action reporting
Pueo runs the exercise, captures the decisions as they are made, and reports gaps with owners, corrective actions, and follow-up.
Executive findings facilitation
Findings presented to general-officer and senior-executive audiences in mission terms, structured so the decision can be made in the session.
Inspector training pipeline
Standards, courseware, mentored on-the-job training, and qualification checks that take a new inspector to independent work on a defined path.
Readiness measurement
Qualification status and exercise performance tracked over time, so readiness is reported with evidence instead of assumed.
Outcomes
- Decisions rehearsed before the real event, with the gaps written down and owned.
- Inspector onboarding 30–40% faster where this training pipeline runs.
- Leaders briefed in mission terms, so findings turn into direction.
- A qualified inspector bench that grows without diluting the standard.
- Readiness measured and reported rather than assumed.
